Okay. So. Bought a house. Moved. Got interwebz. Now the hard part...

I have a lot of trouble finding a good cutter - when I've moved or lost my previous hair person, it can take me two or three bad cuts to find another good one. I average about eight years with the good ones, one cut with everyone else. Hoping Denver is more plentifully supplied with stylists experienced with men's long hair...

Looking for recommendations for cutters/stylists who are TRULY experienced with MEN'S LONG THICK WAVY hair. Not someone who's a wiz with women's styles. Not someone who can trim long, straight (and thinning) hair. Someone who could make George Harrison, Frank Zappa or Doug Henning look good. Someone who understands that you don't cut men and women's long, thick, wavy hair the same way. Someone who doesn't squeal, "OMG, look at all this hair!" but calmly reaches for the big shears.

In Aurora would be good, but "accessible" elsewhere east-ish is fine.

More likely not too many men on the forum with long hair. Speaking for this guy at least.

Yeah, the subject might not fit the audience (of posters and responders).

BTW, it's cool to reference Harrison and Zappa, but I had to chuckle at the Doug Henning part. I don't know, something about that guy...
