Thanks for clarifying that, pittnurse. It's an important distinction, as much of Broomfield's growth lately has been in its northeastern (former Adams County) extension, a place that many of us wouldn't think of as Broomfield. In fact, I recall that Broomfield managed to grab a chunk of Weld County before becoming a county -- wonder if the former Weld County portion goes to Adams-12 or some other district?

I think that former Weld Co. land is in the St. Vrain SD. I am not 100% sure, though. When Broomfield became a county, the school districts that served it did not change, so Broom. Co has schools in about 5 districts right now (mostly BVSD and A-12, however).
