I'm wanting to help my oldest brother in Aurora replace his aging evap with central air. Will I find better rates during certain seasons? For example, Here in Phx it's WAY better to get the new install done in late fall or winter--anytime except summer when every tech is swamped with work.

Thanks.

You just answered your question (!)

Be sure to get many quotes and read reviews about the contractor you will go with.

Ignore services like Home Advisor.

I'd say Feb/March because the same techs that put in AC also work on Furnaces. There should be a dead period when everyone's furnace is running beautifully and nobody is thinking about AC yet.

Both Nextdoor and Yelp are good places to start.

We just had both our furnace and AC replaced in September. We got a decent deal for doing them together. We got three quotes before we ended up going with the HVAC company we have been using for years.
