I consider myself pretty politically agnostic. BUT I prefer not to be around people who rattle on about it non-stop. Is Denver the kind of place where people are liberal (like Austin) or where they are liberal and want to tell you about it every chance they get and ***** about Trump non-stop? (looking at you Portland and San Francisco)

So which is it that you want to know?

Do you want to know if Denver is liberal or do you want to know if people randomly and publicly broadcast their political affiliations?

Based solely on my personal experience, the answer is "no" and "no."

I see them bringing up a number of issues, not just Trump: Kennedy and Polis both bring up clean energy quite a bit, for example. Kennedy, Polis, and Johnson are all bringing up education.

And how much more am I going to pay for all of the FREE things (esp. Polis) the dems are promising?

Somehow they never mention the cost- oops! Forgot it is FREE so NO ONE will pay (!).

It's almost as if political opinions matter to individuals and therefore might show up as a topic of conversation from time to time.

Pretty independent. My street is about 1/3 Republican, 1/3 Democrat, and 1/3 non-affiliated. Even the extremes of either side don't talk about politics out of the blue, people have better things to do. We are more concerned about a lost pet or someone not cutting their grass.

All of the Colorado "cities" are liberal, but where are the cities that aren't, except maybe Oklahoma? I moved here thinking that I was getting the Colorado of 40 years ago, but they passed draconian gun control measures as soon as I got here and legalized pot. The departing Governor is a Democrat and his replacement certainly will be. Coloradans aren't as in your face as New York, California or Illinois liberals, but they certainly vote that way.
