Hi everyone. My bf has like 200 DVDs in a bin that need to go and I'd like to sell them. Any idea on places in Lakewood??

maybe GoodWill
call denver WaxTrax 303-860-0127 for places willing to take them
there is a 1950's retro store Evans & Broadway that at times will take this stuff

we moved a few years ago
i ripped all the CD/DVD's but after doing this could not find a decent home for them
finally i pulled apart each CD or DVD case and recycled paper & plastic and tossed the actual media in the trash

should have bought stock in google

we had maybe 20 boxes and a lot of peeps will say stuff to make you feel good on the is issue but no one wants it
dont wast your time.
good luck.

Take them to 2nd & Charles on Wadsworth a few miles North of SW Plaza

Does he have anything good? I'm a few DVD's shy of 1,500.

2nd and Charles is more than just a mom and pop store. They're a good size chain, have stores in 16 states from here to Alabama. Their other stores in the metro area is 6606 S. Parker Road in Aurora and at the Flatiron Crossing center in Broomfield. They also have one in Ft. Collins.

They deal in more than just dvd's and blue ray; they're involved with hardback books, computer games, cd's, musical instruments, comics, etc. They remind me of a small used entertainment store in Phoenix known as Bookman's. They give you a cash offer and an in-store credit offer. The credit offer usually is 25% more. I've only been in the Parker Road once, but bought some cool cd's for a deal that I thought was quite fair. The manager knew me from some of the other Denver area used/new music shops as I shopped at pretty much all of them when I lived on the front range.

Another store that is worth mentioning is Black and Read on 79th and Wadsworth. I'm sure there are several more if you do a web search on cd's/dvd's in the Denver metro area. Albums on "The Hill" in Boulder is also another place. I've known Andy the owner for a couple decades. Good guy. Same with Danny at Black and Read.

Good luck!

Sure can, he won't mind a bit. Just hit the quote button then COPY what comes up in the new text box, then go to the other forum and paste the copied text into a new posting there.
