There is a decent Jewish community in Boulder. Nothing like the NE, but it's sizable for Colorado. We have plenty of friends who are Jewish, and they all are not very religious but active in the cultural stuff. Check out the Boulder JCC for classes and things.

I was also curious if there are any other similar communities in the Denver area.

I should also mention I work from home, so location does not matter as long as it is a Denver suburb, or even in Denver proper as long as public schools are good.
Denver isn't like New York or Chicago where there are heavily Jewish areas. It's scattered. There are areas that more Jews live in, like the Hilltop neighborhood east of Cherry Creek (which is gorgeous, but expensive) and the area around I-25 and Hampden, near the Hebrew Educational Alliance. We live in the south suburbs, and there are definitely other Jews around (including a Chabad nearby) but it's also a heavily Mormon and Catholic community. That said, everyone has been super friendly.

The best thing I think is to join a temple. Then you meet others, go to Shabbat dinners, and since Denver's relatively small it's not so bad if the person happens to live twenty minutes away.
