My VA tags are about to expire and I’m terrified that when I leave in a few months that my truck will be vandalized when I roll into Denver because I’ll have CA plates on it.

I know how the natives think so I’m sure they’ll have pre conceived notions about me

I’m not here to raise your taxes or vote such people into office

I’m here for the mountain life mainly but I also will love seeing snow again

Please don’t vandalize my vehicle

Please don’t cut me off in traffic

I am not from CA

K thanks

Nobody is going to vandalize your car with CA plates on it. Why would they cut you off in traffic?

However, you might get in trouble by "knowing how the natives think" and assuming they are vandals who hate all people from CA.

As an ex-Californian - crap like this is what gives us a bad rep

They'll add a layer of passive aggressive on you on the roads, but you'll be fine. It was bizarre the change in driving behavior I noticed when I switched my license plates from Texas to Colorado.

So you don't want to move there and make friends, just to enjoy the mountains and snow. You worry about "them" having a preconceived notion about you, but who is the one who has the negative view about people you haven't even met.

No, the pods have already been released and assimilated the Front Range. Everything is fine now. Just fine...…….

Well, you know, we can't speak for everyone.

But I'm almost 99.98% certain that you'll be 'a-ok'.

Yes, your tires will be slashed and your car will be keyed, and the windows will all be smashed. Best not to move to Colorado, stay far, far away.

So a lot of the photos of Denver are exaggerated as far as the mountains visibility is concerned right ? I’ve only had one person confirm my suspicions

Most photos are shopped or use a very manipulated camera angle / longer lense , am I wrong ?

Ex:

Postcard

Real thing

I mean cmon , it’s on the plains so who are they fooling , it’s not COS where it’s in a valley right next to the front range
