There’s a 50% chance the dog’s name is Dakota, Denali, or some other geographically inspired name.

The dog should be a blue heeler with a bandana; then you'd be spot on.

I find “Bailey” and “Aspen” to be the two runaway winners.

I thought it was over-sized, gas-guzzling Dodge inspired.

So true. I name my dog after a place and thought it was different, but then meeting other dog owners realized I had fallen into the same name inspired trap.

It’s also for the most part not in a Jersey Shore vibe way at all. The pace is a lot slower out there by comparison which doesn’t mesh at all with NJ.

God, just thinking about it I really don’t miss the Jersey Shore at all. I think I puked a bit in my mouth.
When you say lots of dudes...are there women too? lol

There's 2 subcults of dogs: Big Dog people gravitate towards Aspens and Denalis, Little Dog people are more inclined to have Dexters and Chanelles... Big Dog people have 4WD crossovers. Little Dog people don't have cars, they use RTD.

There are, but they are scarcer. I got hit on by quite a few guys in 4 years. I got hit on by a girl 1 time. The ladies were always friendly, but they already had boyfriends / husbands 90% of the time.

I think it depends on where you live. Neighborhoods closer to the Center (Cap Hill, Highlands, Rino, Uptown, Cheesman Park) have this young, white, active, professional vibe - with some yuppie/hipster/bro influence. Significant parts of the city have more of a Hispanic down to earth, working class vibe.

Is Denver very Bro/Frat oriented?

I've always imagined Denver to be more like rock climbing/snow boarders.
All of the above are far too simplistic, to the point of being insulting. Big cities are complex and multi-faceted.

Westword...have you ever read paper copies of it? It, too, used to be a multifaceted publication, with some excellent articles. Sometime in the 2000s it went downhill. Really, really downhill. A look at what market’s advertising pays for that newspaper will tell you more than any article trying to paint a big and changing city as bro-ville.

And not everybody in Denver goes rock climbing, snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, SUPing, dogging, FitBitting, blahblahblah.
