Is there anyone out there that remembers Lanes Bar on West Colfax back in the early 70's?

Sure do. Just down the road from "The Tap Inn', right? I also remember Eddie Bohn's (the old pro boxer from here) place, the "Pig 'n Whistle". Both gone now, sadly.

Thank You. We Use To Meet There (1972-1975) To Go To Elitch's. My Friend, John Gurtler, Who Was A Member Of The Western State College Frat, Luthsabens And Owned Elitch's, Use To Invite All Of Us For A Free Day At The Park. It Was So Fun! A Friend Of Mine Said He Didn't Think The Bar Existed. Again, Thank You. I'm Not Losing My Mind After All! Lodogirl

Yep-the old Elitch's rocked! The new one is just lame. I found out yesterday that the "Tap" is still there on W. Colfax!

The artwork in Bohn's restuarant was something, wasn't it? Looked like 60's Disney cartoon frescos all over, even the ceiling.
