I am moving to Denver in about a month for a new job and I need help finding an apt. I will probably fly out in a couple weeks but would love some suggestions of places to look at. I have narrowed it down a bit and will list what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for any help.

1)My wife will be at home most of the day with a newborn so I want a safe area

2) I have family in Centennial so we would like to look in southeast Denver but a little closer to down town

3) I will work right downtown and want to take the light rail into work. I would like to be near a station (thinking possibly colorado, yale, or southmoore stations) Is walking distance an option? if not, or if it's just a lot more expensive then maybe a 5-10 minute drive area.

4) We would like to spend 700-1000 for a two bedroom.

Thanks!

I don't know the price, and I don't recall the exact name, but there's a brand new, nice apartment/condo complex right next to the Dayton station on the southeast line. Does anybody else know what I'm talking about?

I would go with this one.

AMLI at Inverness - Englewood, CO Apartments

It is the Dry Creek exit off of I-25, so Light Rail is an option for commuting. It is right nearby to Centennial.

Your wife will love you. All the shopping she could possibly want is the next exit down the freeway off County Line. Park Meadows has such a peaceful realxing atmosphere for a mall. I love just taking the kids there to eat at the food court.

AMLI apartments are NICE. The prices aren't bad either. It will be so much worth the extra few minutes in commute time for you to place tour family in such a clean and safe part of town.
