Just booked mine for March 5th at Safeway.

Got an email earlier today for a mass vaccination (1900) with the one dose J&J vaccine at Nat'l Jewish Health this Saturday. I didn't sign up as I already have an appt this Friday. I also got one other "you can sign up" notice today. Seems the "don't call us, we'll call you" health centers are starting to come through. When it rains, it pours.

Default J&J vaccine

Still have openings available on 3/9 for the single shot vaccine at National Jewish Health. Best of luck!

I knew the feeling, until today. One down, one to go.

Still going to be a while before international travel resumes, especially thrid world countries. Even Canada is pretty far behind. I have a friend who is 65+ with some medical conditions in Calgary and he estimates another 2-3 months before he can get vaccinated.

I have a few Canadians on my team. Their government really screwed up on ordering and not having any production facilities in the country. They are now building one, but it will not be online until 2022.

Got my first shot at Safeway today. Very easy, and they schedule your second one right there.

He is eligible in 2 weeks.

"Within two weeks, Albertans between 65 and 74, as well as Indigenous persons 50 or older, regardless of where they live, will be eligible for their first shots"

It wasn't the ordering, but the supply issues with the European suppliers.

Canada had actually order millions of vaccines, more than our population.

It was our lack of the ability for massive production, that is the real culprit.

Production facilities here just didn't have the capacity to make millions, as this story says.

I got my first shot today too, also at Safeway. I didn't even have to schedule the second one, they had already done it, and noted it on the back of my card before they gave it to me.
