Hello,

I am an italian girl, with a master's degree in English and German.

I was wondering if someone could tell me if it's so difficult to get a sponsorship from a museum or a language school. I also would like to know if people in Denver actually study and want to learn Italian (or German).

Thank you a lot

I think your better bet is a corporate job where your language skills are needed.

Your LinkedIn profile should be complete and up-to-date.

For employment as a teacher of German/Italian, or for museum work, you should target much larger cities.
There isn't much of a market for either Italian or German here, and there is very little money in museum work... they are too underfunded to be able to sponsor a foreign worker. Museums here are largely staffed by volunteers or interns.

As a percentage, there are probably more German expats in Colo Spgs than Denver. Its a result of the military influence. Are there jobs here for German/Italian speakers, maybe, but they certainly aren't in high demand. Like davebarnes says, a corporate position with overseas offices may be your best bet.
