oh wow I just had this most amazing idea. What if we have TWO happy hours!?!?! Or maybe DenverAztec will just take some pity and meet me and my mom. That might be nice. She NEVER gets out. And ironic, while her daughter chooses to not have children, she chooses to have a baby at 42. So that's pretty consuming for her.

Denversillyman: My mom lives in another city, ahem, town. She's just visiting that week. But yep, we are good friends and haven't had a beer together for at least a year.

I'll be there about 5:20ish if anyone wants to show up earlier. I'd much rather drink than stay at work. It's pretty cheap there, you can get a really good glass of wine for $3 and a mini-pizza for that price too. Very non-uppity too, relaxed and dark too (good for the vampire).

Although I don't have the experience of a 142 year old vodka drinking vampire I'll be there.

Didn't know your mom was coming in from out of town and that you haven't had a drink with her in a year. Anything else I should know before I am subjected to a visit?

I should be able to be there by 5:30ish, like that it will be dark!
