Kool: Thanks!!!

Zion: Tuesday might work well for me. My mom will be here then. She tried to drive up this morning but they closed both Wolf Creek and Red Mtn. Pass, and by the time Wolf opened, it was too late for her to drive up. She's going to try again tomorrow. I guess Dgo. has almost 3 feet now.

Tuesday?
It's Tuesday. Was there a Happy Hour today? I have been snowed in and can't get home for Christmas. We haven't gotten the snow yet but they are getting it at home now and we will be getting it later. Not worth the risk. So what is happening in Denver for Christmas!!!???

We talked about having one but now that my entire family is here and the stress has begun, I don't think I could make it anyway. I have to buy some last minute gifts! Sorry you can't get home Kool. What are you doing for the holiday? We are semi-protesting and are going out for dinner then home for movies. Me and my DH didn't even buy each other gifts.

Is up to everyone else, I can make it if we have people who want to drink.

All that jazz about wanting to take out your mom WantsToStay and now you are backing out! Oh well, I need to save energy for Christmas parties anyway.

Since you and your DH didn't get gifts, you could always dress up in something seductive and tell him that you are his gift! Just a thought, but you would have to kick out the visiting relatives for this to work.

Oh, and by the way, don't get me pulling into that dating thread as it is a mess! Serial Killers and Meat Eaters I know nothing about! LOL!

yeah, well I forgot what it's like hanging out 24 hrs. with my mother. I love her, but well, you know.

Nice idea on the xmas gift, I'll def. keep that one in mind.

The dating thread is hilarious. Some are lonely, some are clueless.

OK, so happy hour after the holidays? My DH wants to come, we were thinking of maybe a Sat. night.

If it is on a Saturday night, we may not get Happy Hour prices unless we go at 4:00? If we stick with week days, we could try the Washington Park or Cherry Creek areas for a change and then your DH can meet up half way? There are some places on old south Gaylord street like the Wash Park Grill or The Cherry Cricket in Cherry Creek north. At one time you mentioned Caldonia's in Aurora/southeast Denver, but that might take you forever to get there from downtown and I would be hammered by the time you arrived!
