Does anyone remember Red Barn. There was one on East Colfax and on Colorado Blvd. In 1978 you could get a cheese burger, small fries and small coke for $1.01. My daily lunch.
Round -the -Corner.., best hamburgers and great grilled cheese sandwich. Loved the phone ordering system.
Next Door restaurant..they were a sister company of RTC and served higher end food, with the same ordering system
Monoco Lanes
Red Owl groceries on Holly Street
The Lift nightclub in Glendale....known for their speed traps
Thirsty's....great 3.2 club
Gator Magoons BBQ
Toby Jug
House of Pies

I remember Toby Jug and Gator Magoon's from my Hampden/Yosemite days! Both were great. Loved House of Pies fresh Strawberry pie.

House of Pies! Yum; also Round the Corner. Liked everything about the corner; from the service to the food, liked their baked beans. Had fun at the lift. Always seemed like a fire trap, though......scary.

Still missing Denver Drumstick!!!

Monaco Lanes is still there.

Round The Corner - loved that place.

The Lift was cool, but I liked Chap's better. Built on the same concept.

Thirsty's was good, but I felt After The Gold Rush was better. Thirsty's is now Brooklyn's Sport's Pub outside the Pepsi Center. Another great 3.2 place was After The Fox on South Broadway.

House of Pies is the reason I had to lose weight.

Big County - November 19, 1983 at the Rainbow Music Hall. One of the best concerts ever at The Rainbow.

After the show, I was hanging out at the Marriott at I-25/Hampden with some friends who came down from Minneapolis. We were having a some drinks in the lounge when the band walked in as they were also staying there. I asked Stuart Adamson how it felt to be a rock star and he responded "I'm no star . . . I just play my music and hope the fans appreciate it and the band's creative talent." He was such a nice guy.
