They did have cool shows all right and it didn't get any cooler than when they did Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon!

I never saw that show, but I did see "Laser Floyd" several times. I remember the first time I walked out of there I was sure I was stoned or something because it messed with my head, man.

And to think they still have Laserium around but not at any venues anywhere cause depending on who you listen to wither the shows do not draw enough people to support it, OR it draws the wrong type of crowd that no one wants to have shows.....

Does anyone remember the name of a restaurant open in the '60s and '70s that had lots of different places to get food from all over the world?

That huge club in Glendale when it first opened was called The Sports Page Club.

If it was on Colorado Blvd. just south of Alameda, it was the Yum Yum Tree. Connected to it was Tang's, which was an import store like Pier One used to be. I miss that place, we used to go there all the time. Come to think of it, I miss the old Pier One too. You used to be able to get some pretty cool stuff there, incense, Indian bedspreads, trinket type stuff. Now it's all expensive stuff that reminds me of some kind of Martha Stewart nightmare.

In the early to late 1970's that was one great station. Strictly album format, lots of 60's to 70's folk, psych, Brit, Invasion, some chart hit 60's. One guy loved CSNY on there, he would get on a kick and play an hours worth of different album cuts by the Byrds (Crosby), Buffalo Springfield (Stills, Young), and Nash (Hollies)

Before that station Denver's only other psych/garage band station was KMYR from 1967 to 1970. And they would play some wicked stuff! Cuts by the Vanilla Fudge, 13th Floor Elevators, Fever Tree, Chocolate watchband, Standells, and on and on and on!
