Hi,
We did an out-of-state move to Colorado a few years ago. We live in Highlands Ranch and have enjoyed it. Great schools, amazing rec centers, easy access to trails, parks, stores and medical offices. Highlands Ranch made sense at the time since my husband worked near DTC. He now works entirely remotely. We are considering a new build and online came across Allison Ranch which is north of Pradera in Parker. We also drove by Meridian Village and Sierra Ridge also in Parker which are not new but much newer than our 90’s home. I’d love to hear opinions on these areas of Parker especially the schools since we have grade school kids. I’ve been to an indoor play place and a couple of restaurants in which everyone seemed friendly.

What are the factors causing you to move FROM and TO?
Have you considered the transaction costs of moving?

Yes, we have. The biggest factor is the desire to have a new house as ours is going to require all new windows not to mention some of the bathrooms are original. We also don’t mind a smaller house. Moving from our house to Parker would be a savings.
