“ I can’t socialize or be around a group of work people. I sweat uncontrollably and can’t function. The thought of being around people knowning I’m stuck for 2 days makes me sick.”
Is not related to altitude.

Layden, you appear to be a very anxious person, and I doubt anything we relate is going to alleviate that, but Denver is a nice city. You have nothing to be worried about. Altitude sickness is very unlikely unless you head into the mountains. I know it's hard, but please try to enjoy your visit. It's lovely here.

I would be more worried about being mugged by a tweaker than altitude sickness OP. I had some nose bleeds and I know that is common for a lot of people due to the dry area. But most people don't get altitude sickness if they stay in Denver. And if you do, there is OTC meds to help treat it. I hear Ginger works too.
