Hi,

I am planning to move to Broomfield in couple of months from India. I am curious to know what areas near my work location i.e. Broomfield are good with Indian desi community, residence/apartment, stores, restaurants, and good high school as my son is in 11th Std.
Appreciate any feedback for new comers.

Thanks
Sanjeev

Welcome. Until someone replies with specifics, use our search tool with keywords such as Indian or Desi, as we've had such threads in the past.

Hi.

For high schools, one school rating service ranks Jefferson Charter Academy Senior High School as a 10 of 10 with 6% of the students being Asian out of about 400 students. Legacy High School is rated 9, with about 9% asian out of 2200 students. Broomfield High School is rated 8 of 10 with 4% asian of 1500 students. You probably would want one of the first two. Google Broomfield Co school ratings to see various sites. https://www.google.com/search?q=broo...9i57.11978j0j7
Google the school names to call the schools directly. Ask them to help you talk to a Desi parent to try to understand what their experience was / is. Have you tried any of this before? Wanting help to understandable but there may not be anyone here readily with more targeted information.DO Do similar searches for other cities if you want to compare options.

Did you join the recommended Facebook group? Or any or all of the 1-2 dozen similar groups listed on that page? Those groups are your best hopes for finding information and / or asking your specific questions. Spend hours looking and asking there.

Did you click every link at denverindian.com and try to contact all the specific individuals there? If yes and still not satisfied, ask them for other names. If no, do it.

Have you seen the yelp list of indian groceries? https://www.yelp.com/search?find_des...oomfield%2C+CO Have you used the tool to search for other businesses? Have you called any of the groceries to discuss their business or their knowledge of other Indian businesses?

Will you look closely at this news site and see what information or informationation leads it provides?

The prior information links should help if fully reviewed, if anything is going to help enough. I found the additional links in a few minutes for you with no prior direct knowledge. There may be more out there, if you work at it.

What other links, if any, did you find independently in last 3 weeks? Post them for future users looking for similar information.

Using search tool (at top right of forum page) and term Desi and searching Colorado forum, there are 10 threads including yours. This link won't last long but you can repeat the search. https://www.city-data.com/forum/sear...rchid=46701783 Some might have useful information. Will you look at them?
