In a lol nod to a fabled tourist trap and a memorable episode of the show, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone purchased the doomed restaurant and brought it back to life.

Very cool - it's been there for 50 years. Hopefully with this infusion of cash, it can be there for another 50 years. This is the executive chef asking for applicants for 500 jobs there... she is a 3-time James Beard award winner, so the standard of the food is probably going up too.

I'm glad these guys did this. Colorado has been a depressing place to talk about for a while so this is sweet. They're job creators now.

Who could have imagined a wild animated series by two goofy men would spawn so much happiness and goodness in the world?
