I just recently went and loved the park...I looked on their website and they do allow weddings but w/ restrictions. Has anyone been to one or had one there??? How was it? What location? I'm wanting an outdoor wedding in the mountains w/o a huge expense...any other locations that you would recommend???

Thanks so much!

I don't know anyone personally that's had one in RMNP but I do have a wedding photographer friend that has done shoots all over the state (and around the country for that matter). I am pretty sure she's shot up in the area.

Anyhow, contact the town of Estes Park through their chamber. I am sure they can give you a lot of good information: Estes Park Official Information. Estes Park Lodging, Hotels, Vacation Planning, Services, Colorado Weddings and more from estesparkresort.com.

There are so many options for having a great wedding in our state, it's hard to even know where to begin. Your budget will dictate what might be available to you and your needs. I mean there are all the mountain resorts, there are wineries that have wedding/meeting facilities on the Wesetern Slope and such. Your wedding should be a reflection of you (of course budget contraints) and how you want to start out your new life.

Heck, one of my friends was married on the top of Keystone and it reflected the couple pretty well as they live in the area. It was a blast (but not cheap).

There are so many location possibilities in Colorado it'd be hard to pinpoint based on a small entry to a message board. Running through my own experiences of Colorado, seeing wedding photos from around the state, if I were a bride-to-be I'd just go to the justice of the peace and I couldn't make up my mind.
