So that place has since been demolished. But it looks like they are working on something there? Are they building something new?

This is the place at 44th and Sheridan.

Thanks!

Well, after calling almost every business along side this place and lots and lots of googling I finally found something.

Denver retail developer buys shopping mall. | Article from Denver Post (Denver, CO) | HighBeam Research

Looks like a developer bought the site for 8.5 mil back in 2006. I just got off the phone with them and they were tight lipped about the plans. Basically she admitted to they are signing leases and finding tenants.

So, it looks like something is happening there. She said they may make a formal announcement in a few months.

Default My Uncles place is across the street.

Last I heard rumor was it was going to be like Bel-mar (the old Villa Italia). Lofts over retail shops.

This is driving me crazier!! This is where I shopped, where my Mom worked, where I got my first bike!!! I can't believe it is gone!!

Change is GOOD but, I thought my Mom and Sister would see it once again in September!!! It will be strange but......such is life!!

I can't believe ALL of the changes in Northwest Denver,.....I thought that after I got out, it had gone to the "Ghetto" of sorts. That's what I get for thinking!!

Hum... I live in the neighborhood and the rumor mill says that there will be a super Target etc... perhaps those of us who live around here will be able to shop for daily goods without going to Arvada!

What ever is going to happen there it should be nice. I highly doubt Wachovia would have built that new branch if they didn't know something was going to happen. And the new office building with the dentist in it also.

It was interesting to learn that Lakeside, CO is the second smallest city in Colorado. A whole 20 people lived there in 2000:P

I have ideas on how Lakeside can become the best amusement park around. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can connect with Lakeside ownership?
