Hi, im currently living in miami and I have been doing some house searching. The best house I have found is in the aurora area, it is off E mississippi ave and about a mile from the air force base. What do you think of that area?

Probably not like Miami, but we do have a few areas that you might want to avoid in both the City of Denver as well as Aurora.

Hey there,

My brother lived in the Miami area (Hallandale Beach) for 2 years and I made 3 trips out there to see him. There are definately areas of Denver with lots of crime that you should avoid but I don't think it's as bad or as widespread as in Miami. I know that a big determining factor for my brother getting out of south Florida was the horrible crime. He hated Miami and couldn't wait to move- he now lives in Charlotte, NC and loves it! The area of Aurora that you are looking at is nice- it's suburban in its feel, quite a few newer houses and it's close to the air guard base so there are lots of military occupants and young families.
