I am looking at two different properties - one in Sloans Lake (about 2 blocks from the lake) and the other at 27th & California (right by the light rail station).

Are there any opinions out there?

Thanks

Property near the light rail sounds better to me... unless you can take your boat to work (which would be sweet).

You might want to look at the 5 points thread as the 27th & California property is in Curtis Park.

In the short-term, Sloans Lake is going to be a better bet, because northwest Denver is a proven commodity at this point, and that's not going to change.

Curtis Park may have better long-term potential as NW Denver has already had a big jump in property values, plus it it may be better connected to downtown by transit.

Thanks for the replies - we're putting an offer in on the one in Sloan's Lake - we'll see how it goes!
