I was just wondering if anyone can give me an idea about homeowners insurance costs. This would be on a home costing about $250 - $275K with a mortgage of $200 to $225K, about 2000 square feet. I'm looking in the Littleton or Highlands Village areas, so this would be in a subdivision, not out in the boonies or anything.

I don't expect an exact figure...just a round about idea so I can estimate how much I'll be spending on PITI mortgage payment per month.

Thanks!!!

Insurance depends on the property - age, roofing material, past history, square footage, land size, location of the nearest fire hydrant, contents , and the person's credit history.

Call the person that has your car insured. Shop till you drop. Message me for my insurance guys #

Wife and I purchased a $245K newbuild in Reunion (right near DIA), $230K loan. Yearly premium is ~$500 for good coverage with AllState.

my preliminary quote for basic homeowners in highlands ranch/parker in that size and price range was 50-100$ with the primary determining factor in that range being your credit score

I would say about $500 premium, with a $1000 deductible.

For those that answered w/ estimates, thank you so much! That's finally some good news. We pay about $1,100 here in TX.
