The cookie cutter aspect drives me crazy!! No offense, just not for me.
So where should people live if they can't afford the nice parts of Denver proper? Will you help pay my mortgage so I can live in expensive neighborhoods of Denver instead of HR?

I think too I've done the 1920's Arts and Crafts home thing before...can you say money pit? And time pit too! I'd rather put my money into college funds these days than trying to deal with maintaining/renovating an older home. And I'd rather put my time into my family than an aging home.

Will houses in HR age? Sure...but I'd rather deal with 5-15 year maintenance issues than 80 year old issues. For me, the "charm" of an older home isn't so charming having been there and done that.

I agree. I watched my parents do it; it's not for me.

I FOUND THEM!!!! THE CHILDREN - I FOUND THEM!!!!

They are having the time of their lives at Civic Green Park. What an amazing place! We brought our kids there today because I'd been to the Farmer's Market at Town Center and wanted my husband to see it. What a great place for kids. A river to play in, a wading pool with fountains, a sprayground, a really cool playground, open space to run, mountain views - the library right next door - with a drive through book return (be still my beating heart). And so many kids having a fabulous time.

I love this place!!!!!
