BTW, this one:

Reminds me of exit 13 on the NJ Turnpike, though the smoke is missing.

It's good to see some pictures of summer. I also like seeing everyday things, the best part is that with the mountains in the background it's almost always scenic no matter what you're lookin at.

Thanks again for the memories...c470 was a plan only when I lived in Bear Valley area. Wadsworth ended out at the Martin Marietta plant, a very mysterious place back in the 60's.
The refinery you show may be the old Conoco plant that blew up in 76-78? sometime. Living off 6th ave and Sheridan, in the shower getting ready for work when the house shook, windows rattled. Killed several as I recall.
Chatfield Dam?
The road from Louiseville to Boulder was 2 lane as I recall, many trips to Colacci's....I so miss their pasta!
I vote for more road and picture trips!!!!

This photo tour is very excellent! Why is it so hard to find an unbiased photo collection like this... as opposed to the same stupid sunset and selectively aimed shots that you see everywhere else. If I want to see a pretty sunset or mountain stream I'll buy a coffee tabel book. If I'm online searching google earth or a moving forum, I want accuracy. Great job, VP!!!
