So what do you do?

Just email realtors in the area with your resume and how much your willing to work for. there are zillions of em. If you can work it out with different incoming numbers... work for more than one!

Risk analysis for businesses all over the country, and some in other countries. Mostly research, plus a lot of writing.

So is this something I could get into? Or is this just something you have worked out for yourself? I guess really I'm just trying to do the same thing....

I just responded to an Ad in the Denver Post for stuffing envelopes? Any thoughts on these companies? They seem to be everywhere, but they won't tell you much over the phone when you call...Any input would be appreciated before I start working with them...not to detract from the OP...

Pennies per envelope. You have to do LARGE volume to make it worth it and there are usually other costs involved. I'd stay away. I looked into those years back. Unless you have a machine... expect a lot of papercuts and a paycheck that won't cover your bandaid cost.

Not really - I just fell into it. Our Sr. VP is into "using technology" and his attitude is, if you don't need to be in the office certain days, then don't waste the gas and work from home. Many of our consultants are either on the road or working from home. I don't know of any other positions open in the Denver area that would allow working from home. I think many people in my office might occassionally work from home, but they aren't part of my division of the company.

Well thanks for letting me know. I looked at consulting but I'm not really one who is good at marketing one's self. I don't have the experience nor the finances to pay someone else to do it.

I think I'd probably starve before I was able to work through the marketing learning curve.
