I'm probably going to be coming to Denver for a job interview - technically in Broomfield. Are there any good record stores in the area? I love the whole 16HP/Woven Hand/Munly/Slim Cessna sound, so anyplace that has a good local music selection would be great.

Also - what's good for food in the area? For the interview, my meals will probably be expensed, so money is not really an issue at first, but good cheap local places are always appreciated as well. Any good BBQ joints? Indian food? Thanks!

for BBQ: I really like KT's just off 287 in Broomfield. For Indian, Jewel of India on 104th and Federal (southwest corner) in Westminster.

Afraid I can't help you with record stores in the area.

Good luck on your interview!

The best DVD/record store I know of is Twist and Shout and I go to it at Colfax near the Tattered Cover Bookstore in Denver. Swing by next time you are in town--they have a three story parking garage and it's east of downtown Denver.

Wax Trax, 638 E. 13th Ave. Denver, CO 80203.

Little India is decent, Denver is not much of a BBQ town. Brothers is okay, there is a place off of Colfax near the capitol on the north side whose name I forget that gets good reviews.

Good luck with your interview.

If your visiting Denver, you've got to go to the Buckhorn Exchange. Its not inexpensive though, but if your expenses can handle a few $$$, then its a go. Its a unique dining experience.
