I am looking to relocate myself and my family to Boulder Colorado so I can go to the Art Academy there and I am finding it rather difficult to say the least..and also very discouraging..From what I have been told Colorado.. more specifically Denver and the surrounding towns are extremely expensive.
So if anybody has any ideas on affordable housing or possible know of any welding job openings in or very near Boulder the information would be much appreciated.

It's hard for us to help unless you are more specific. "Affordable" means different things to different people, all depending on your personal situation.

Boulder is the most expensive city of size on the front range.

The market is based on what a willing buyer pays a willing seller.

Default good point.... sorry bout the vagueness

well I guess I mean affordable for a family of 6 with only one parent working full time as a welder.. now I'm not sure what the pay rate is although I've been doing some looking and it seems that with my fiance's 3 years welding experience... he should be able to make 12 to 18 dollars an hour

eh... grr anyway I guess does anybody know of any housing close to Boulder that falls between $600- $800....a three bedroom place would be best

I was hoping that maybe a person who lives there might know of some non Internet advertised places...

well hope that helps you help me

$600-800 a month for a family of 6? Sorry. Maybe a one bedroom. I'd say you are looking at closer to $1200 a month for rent for a three bedroom near Boulder (Arvada, Broomfield), and that would be cheap.

You're never going to find a 3 bedroom for anywhere near $600-$800, especially not in Boulder. However, you're far better checking a resource like Craigslist http://www.craigslist.org/ than going to an apartment complex, where you're guaranteed to pay maximum price. If there are deals to be had, they'd be on Craigslist.
