Hi all ~
My husband is debating accepting a position with Dish Network in Denver. I've read a lot of horror stories from former/current employees and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on the company.
Also, we've been doing some research on home prices in the area and I'm not sure realistically how much an average family would have to earn to live comfortably in the Denver area. We would like to find a single home for less than 250K in a suburb of Denver, but I don't think that's going to be possible.
Any and all advice is appreciated.
Thanks

I know two people, a client and a good friend that work for Dish. One is in engineering, the other in sales. The person in engineering is paid extremely well and really loves his job, he has never complained about the atmosphere there. The sales person has more direct access to senior management with his position. He said it can be "hostile" at times but he likes what he is doing and is also paid well.

How did your husband like his job? Did he take it? My husband is currently contemplating taking a job with dish network.

Worked at Dish Network a few years ago as an Intern in their IT department. I never thought of the environment as very hostile. I actually rather enjoyed the people I worked with.
