We are looking to move to the Denver at the end of this school year. My wife's office will be in Englewood, 80112. My son will be entering 7th grade, and he's been labeled gifted in math & science, in the top 99% in national tests among private schools. At this point, we'd rather utilize public school. From research on this forum and online, it seems like CCSD is a good district, so I'm considering moving to this area so he will go to Campus Middle, and Cherry Creek High.

What I'm looking for is anyone who has had experience with these or any other schools within 15-25 minutes of Englewood in relation to their gifted student. I'm looking for schools where the gifted student will be stimulated and challanged, rather than just breezing through without effort. Thanks for any input.

I don't have direct knowledge of Campus, but my husband teaches at another academically advanced school in the Cherry Creek District. His kids compete with kids from Campus, and the Campus kids do really well at the math competitions. Also they have strong CSAP scores. I'm not familiar with their GT program, but I do know the principal and she is very interested in helping gifted and talented kids. Campus is a strong middle school academically.
