Well We visited Denver for 4 days and could not find a Maplewood (New England type) village any where. Looked at Golden, Morrison, Evergreen, Englewood, Littleton, Pratt Park, Washington Park, Stapilton (too far), Lakewood, Parker, Castle Rock, etc etc. Non seemed to fit the bill. While we liked Washington Park area, we realized there were no kids there. In fact we met a family that lived there and they were moving to Highlands Ranch so there kids could go out side and play with other kids next door. Fortunitly where we live there are 30 kids within 2 blocks of us, all within +/- 1year of our own kids (next door, across the strret, down the street) We even met someone from Maplewood, NJ that had been in Denver over 10 years and has not found anything close yet. It does not exist. He stated that after 1-2 years you get used to going to a strip mall for dinner, drinks, movies and a little shopping, with no one recognizing who you are. Well we will decised later. Thank you all for the suggestions.
