Have you worked at a popular bar that is part of a major hotel with conference center in the past? Finding a busy bar on its own is good. Having one attached to a conference center hotel ususally means very good tips when conferences are happening. Hotels may also have opportunities to do private functions where you make a larger base salary + tips.

Anything would be helpful!!! Thank you

The service industry seems to be doing well here. I was told to walk 16th street mall between 2pm-4pm and hit all the bars/restaurants up. Then the next day do the same thing all over again, regardless if you failed the first time.

I have worked at a conference center before that would be a really good idea. Thank you for the advice on that!
