I'm new to the area and am craving sushi. Are there any good sushi places in Aurora or anywhere in Denver??

I went to Sonoda's just across County Line Rd. from Park Meadows last summer. I liked it.

Sonoda's is always what I hear recommended when people ask about Sushi.

I had Sonoda the one in Parker Rd, i think their sushi is all right. I'm from NY so I've had a very good sushi for my liking. I have yet to find a good sushi place here in Dever. My suggestion is speak to any japanese or korean in the area since there is a lot here and ask them they'll be able to tell which one is good.

Sushi Den, Sushi Hai, Hapa Sushi. These are all in Denver, none of them in strip malls.

There's one on Leetsdale off Monaco, was very tasty and reasonable priced. Forgot name!

My faves are Osaka at Exposition & Colorado for everyday sushi, Sushi Sasa at 15th & Platte for fancy-pants sushi, and Domo at 14th & Osage for strange but good sushi. Hapa Sushi is pretty good too. Sushi Den has great food, but no reservations makes me crazy.

I think Sushi Den and Sushi Sasa are the top two sushi joints in town, which is better is a matter of opinion. Sasa is my personal favorite. Sonoda I consider standard or average, with prices to match, and good everyday sushi. Not impressed with Sushi Hai or Hapa, prices are high like the best places, but the sushi is not as good. Can't help you with places in Aurora.
