And therefore, I knight thee, 2binmenver

Stand up and rise a knightess

I couldn't find the regular knight's ritual sword. So I used a spanner for the ceremony. Hope you don't mind

Tony's Friday night date disaster

Ok, I drove this Indian girl to the mexican restaurant.

10 minutes in with so much romance and I make a Hugh Hefner joke. I merely stated that the economy's so bad and if I lose my job, I'll pick up my cam and become a Hugh Hefner.

This is when the heavy water started picking up for a nuclear reaction. I got an earful.

"So what now, you're gonna go tell Daddy?"

"You insult my Dad"

She gets up and leaves to call a cab. I sit there totally flabbergasted.

She comes back and states that she does not trust the cab driver and it's my obligation that I be the driver for I dragged her into this.

I drove her back and I got another earful. This is where the argument got nasty and funnier at the same time. At one point I stated I should not have asked my mom out

Now I am sitting here licking my wounds. Oh pleaaaaaaaaase So much for my charming skills.

This deserves another thread on its own. I don't really understand what the problem was? She doesn't like Hugh Hefner? Was it a nice restaurant? Sounds like a typical friday night to me. Call her back tomorrow.

I never heard Denver called Menver until I read this forum. Is this something new? Is Denver being over run with men? I didn't think I have been gone THAT long.

ha ha ha..

Antlered Chamataka:

Allow me to break it down for you.
1. Menver has created an atmosphere where women believe they deserve to be put on a pedestal.
2. I hope the joke wasn't the first thing out of your mouth as women base their entire judgment
of you on what you say in the first 10 minutes.
3. The girl sounds unstable if she really reacted that abruptly..
4. After she got up to storm off, she soon realized she was too cheap to pay for a cab so she came back to hit
you up for the "free" ride home.

Welcome to the reality of dating in Denver.. (My bad, I meant to say Menver)
