Hey everyone!

After vacationing in Denver this summer, it's safe to say that love at first sight is true. So I decided to ride the "Change Train" and relocate this November.

I've done some research and I think I'll be wanting to move to the Washington Park area, but my main area of concern would be employment. Is there anyone that is a Vet Tech or Ultrasound Tech that can offer some friendly advice to finding employment?

I've been a unlicensed Vet Nurse for 8 years, but I'm transitioning to become a full fledge Ultrasonographer. I graduated this past March from an ultrasound school in NY and recently wrote and passed the physics board exam. I was hoping to gather more information to which places would be best to apply and are entry-level friendly. I did my clinical internship primarily in general and vascular ultrasound, but I'd love to get experience in all modalities.

Also, what are some of the best restaurants and bars??? I'm a huge foodie and dining out is one of my favorite things to do. When I went in July, I spent most of my time camping and I wasn't able to experience the nightlife of downtown Denver. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

Thank you

I can't offer you any advice, I can only relate...I traveled to Denver this summer too...love at first sight! I've also decided to relocate, however, I'm looking for a teaching job...so far from what I've heard the market is pretty tight all over.

Best wishes to you and your search!

The large hospitals in metro Denver would probably be your best source for jobs.

Thank you for the replies. I just came back from Denver with an interview at one of the large metro hospitals, hopefully it bites! I'll be moving there next month and I'm so excited! What are some of the best neighborhoods for starting out as a mid-20's young professional?
