If you need help deciding to move to CO.....you will not get much of that here! haha! Even the people who want to move w/o convincing (like me) aren't received with welcome arms (despite buying power, relocating a business, tax revenues we would bring the state, good citizenship we would bring the state, etc.).

That being said....if you are good at snowboarding- maybe you can work at a resort for a winter and see how you like it. Im not sure how you would go about getting one of those jobs, but its worth looking into. We won't move w/o getting my husband transfered there first, but if you have the guts to do it in a down economy- why not! It could be an adventure for you! (You're young enough that if you crash and burn fairly soon upon arrival you can go back to mom and dad's for 6 months to figure your !@#$ out). =)

Sounds like CO would be a great place for you with your interests. You could get a job as a liftie at one of the resorts, or there seem to be a ton of restaurant jobs around.

Those people are a minority.
