Hello,
My wife and I are planning on relocating to the area. We would like to live in either Denver or Boulder. We currently live in Rochester, NY. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and have one year of experience from Co-ops. I have been unable to find a job in NY and would love some help or suggestions for places to apply, connection to places that are hiring, or just to make some engineering contacts in the process in either Denver or Boulder. Im a hard worker, I just need to get my foot in the door somewhere. Any help at all would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Kevin

Are you a member of ASME? There should be a lot of contacts for you through their Colorado group(s).

Yes, I have checked. Thanks for the advice, unfortunately there is almost nothing posted on ASME in general. The market for engineers is a little lackluster right now. For the few jobs that do come up, it seems like you need to know someone in order to get to the point of an interview, which is what Im concerned about since I will be moving to a new place where I dont know anyone. I will certainly try and make some contacts through the website though. Thank you
