Someone should start a thread or revive a thread on the best Denver Metro mom and pops.

I've always loved a challenge. I'll open it.

Here in Louisville, there is the ever-popular Blue Parrot Italian restaurant.

I also like Ting's Chinese restaurant in Lafayette.

I second Three Sisters. I love their soups -- especially the split pea and the corn and sweet potato chowder. It's a nice place, too.

A & A Hardware on 4500 block of south Broadway in Englewood.

Romano's for Italian food. They've been in the biz for 42 years and still a great place! Near Littleton Blvd on Windermere, a few minutes from downtown Littleton.

Black and Read. Huge book selection and used and new vinyl, used and new CD's. 79th and Wadsworth.

Wax Trax. Been in business with current owner since 1976. 13th and Washington.

Ditto Katiana's suggestion on Blue Parrot!
