First, let me say thank you to everyone who responded to my questions over the last few months on this forum. I really appreciate all the great information provided by you all and we have used your suggestions to guide many aspects of our pending move.

Secondly, I am happy to announce that we found a house in the Platt/Wash Park area and will be moving there in May. We are very excited about the move and are really looking forward to joining you all for happy hour or tea in the near future.

I have one more question though, since it's really hard to find good day care in my experience, does anyone recommend any facilities in the Platt/Wash Park area for our two year old daughter? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer on this issue.

Best Regards!

I don't know as of the moment... but there has been a baby boom on our block in Platt Park. I think there have been about 5 babies on our block in the past year... I'll ask around.

There is St John's on Franklin, Wash Park Early Learning Center on Arizona, and the Montessori place on Sherman St.

Hello, we are also moving to Platt Park (and very excited about it) in late May. We have a two and a half year old daughter and a four and a half year old son. We will be looking for friends in the area. Thanks for your post. We are also looking for some sort of day care or preschool.
