I remember eating once at Icon Burger (I think that was the name) at 95th & Arapahoe (Atlas Valley) in Lafayette some years ago. It was the first location of what has morphed into smashburger. I wasn't impressed then, have never gone back.

No it doesn't. In and Out is one of the most overrated burger joints I have ever been to. Everytime I go, I have been underwhelmed.

Try a Smashburger, a Juicy Burger, a 5 Guys burger, or a Good Times burger. All are better than the In and Out burgers I've had.

I respectfully disagree on 5 guys...I think that place is overrated although I do like the topping choices.

I personally love In-n-Out...but the best burger I ever had was at the Shake Shack in NYC.

5 guys was too heavy, never seen a juicy burger and I saw a smash burger on arapahoe road so maybe I will try that next week after I pick up my girls at school.

I heard colorado has fat burgers, has anyone tried those?

Where are you from? You're supposed to say something like,"I love In and Out Burger, and I can't wait until we have one!"

Yours implies something inadequate about Colorado, and that flies like a brick; my suggested revision suggests that Colorado's only going up!!!

Add extra exclamations to make it even more positive!!!

We've had this conversation before, so I merged two threads into one.

We have two LONG threads on Best Burger in Denver; they can be found with a quick use of the search tool.

Juicy Burgers are on Yosemite just south of Arapahoe. By the 7-11.

i agree, no better or worse than any of the other you listed. I think Good Times makes a hell of a burger. So does Culver's. Something about meat fried in butter that does it for me.
