Hello-I just moved to the springs and have to take a friend to the denver airport on sunday. We want to head up there early and check out the city but have no idea what to do there, or around the area. We have essentially 5 hrs to kill and we are looking for suggestions on what to do and or a unique place to eat.Anything would help.
Thanks in advance!!!

What kind of food do you like? There's middle eastern food at Jerusalem. There's a neat Greek-American casual restaurant called Pete's. Both of these are near the DU campus. Also Bonnie Brae ice cream if it's hot or you just want ice cream. These places are fairly close to Wash Park and the Botanic Gardens.

If you like Crepes, there's a neat Crepe place in Cherry Creek North. It's on 3rd Avenue between Detroit St and Fillmore St. You should get crepes and then get coffee at Peet's on 2nd and Columbine.

Or..

Go downtown and get "fancy" frozen yogurt at Kuulture. It's essentially a Pinkberry ripoff, but it's pretty good. It's at 15th and Lawrence. There are also restaurants and other things to do around there and it's also a block from the 16th Street Mall.
