Hey guys,
We're in the process of looking for a new ped. and I was wondering if any of you would like to recommend your family's ped. We are currently living in Littleton... so anything from here to Denver is fine (Littleton, Lakewood, Englewood, Denver etc.) we're even open to any peds in Highland's Ranch, Centennial if we think he/she is worth the trip . We really would prefer a ped/practic that treats thier patients like family and who you, as a parent, feel comfortable talking to... I don't want to feel like my 'first time mommy' questions are 'annoying' them or anything... Of course we're also looking for a ped who does the best at what he/she does and that's taking care of our kids!!! so any recommendations on drs. who've won local awards (or not so local awards) would also be GREATLY appreciated.... thank for your time everyone!!!!

We use Advanced Pediatric Associates. They are a large group, and have a couple locations around the metro area. When I was pregnant with my now 7 month old, we were new to the area and didn't have a clue. My ob recommended either them or Crown Pediatrics - located by Parker Hospital. I know APA has a website, Crown may as well. You might look into them if they aren't too far.

I work at The Children's Hospital and we track and measure all pediatric practices across the Front Range, thus, we're privy to who ranks the best. We then cross-reference that with our physician relations department which has developed personal relationships with nearly all the major practices in the area. Advanced Pediatric Associates is very good indeed.

My first choice for that area, based on that data, office staff and general bedside manner, is Peds 5280 in Centennial http://www.pediatrics5280.com/ . Many of The Children’s Hospital pediatric specialist physicians and our staff who live in the south take their children there which is always a ringing endorsement. John Bosley, MD is a personal favorite.
