I just got a job in West Des Moines. Where would the best place for a 25 year old to live? I don't want to be too far from work and I want a good place to raise a family. Any suggestions?

Relocation
I would definitely look into Urbandale. Great community in fact top 10 in the country.

Traffic in the area compared to other places is pretty light. Bad traffic means it takes maybe 30 min to get to West Des Moines from anywhere so it's not really a bad deal. West DES Moines, Urbandale, Johnston, all good choices if you want to stay in the suburbs, but in Des Moines itself there are a lot of good areas too.
