I found a house and paid my deposit and signed a year lease. The previous tenants still have not moved out. My lease starts March 1st. By them moving slowly it will cost me money. What if the landlord has to evict before they will vacate. Since my leas4 starts tomorrow what are my rights. I don't want my money back I just want to be able to move. Its been a month since I paid my deposit with the expectation of moving in tomorrow.
Thanks. Need all the advice I can get.

First-ask the landlord for specifics as far as when the current tenants are moving out.

You have the right to accompy the place March 1st (assuming you've met all the conditions of the lease).

The problem, evictions by landlords of tenants are time consuming and expensive.

YOu probably have legal recourse (eventually) but nothing that helps you out today.

Sorry.
