I just moved to West Des Moines and cannot find any good wings. Hooters has closed and I can't find a Quaker lube or wingstop please help.

That Buffalo Wild Wings is really good - I used to stop there a lot when I lived across from Jordan Creek. I'd also try Overtime - 4810 86th Street Urbandale

The phrase "good wings" is an oxymoron to begin with!

It really doesn't make sense that Hooters closed, it was known as the place to watch UFC (which is to Iowa what the Packers are to Wisconsin) and had to be doing well.

Buffalo Wild Wings is simply not as good. Waitresses aren't nearly as attractive either.

The company that owned the Hooters here filed bankruptcy. It closed a few stores in the midwest, not just the one in Des Moines.

Hooters in general is a struggling brand. There has been some rumors that Hooters casino in Las Vegas will soon be rebranded.

I think I saw a Twin Peaks in West Des Moines recently, which was Hooters biggest competition. Not sure if they have wings.
