At the Waffle House?!

Everytime I've been to a Waffle House when traveling in the south, it's been dirt cheap. Of course, I've never had great service or an extremely clean atmosphere at one either, but you don't go here for 4-star dining...or when you're sober.

Sounds like you must've ordered off the yankee menu.

Waffle House is very cheap. It doesn't exactly cater to the ritziest of clientele. Last time I went to the one in KC was a couple years ago and I barely remember it (I was trashed) and the time before that was maybe five years ago and it was $5.99 for all you can eat cooked to order off a certain menu, which was pretty much all the standard breakfast fare.

Maybe its cheaper in Missouri my wife and I have eaten at the ones in KC and STL area and I don't think we have ever spent more than $15 there ever for both our meals, drinks, tax, and a tip!

I recommend the one in O'fallon Missouri it was very good service, great tasting food, and the prices were good.

I miss the west STL suburbs
