Do they sell pizza by the slice?

I find when our chef is not here, I end up eating at slices as often as not. It is super quick, cheap, reasonably good and friendly people. Once in a while I will go for a $12 hamburger place or a food truck sandwich (or Thai or Mexican), but often I set out with a plan to go someplace slower and more expensive, but when I get out, I just go grab two slices and go for a nice long walk with the extra time (or dash back to work).

When I have some time, I will stop by and see what they have. Maybe today since i am sick and not getting anyhting done anyway.

Capitol Park is going to such a cool area to walk around. Wall-to-wall with restaurants, coffee shops, and watering holes - absolutely spectacular.

I've been wondering for a couple of weeks now- where they are digging up Cadillac Square on the side that has the street games in the summer- do you think that is prepping something for the Monroe site? The location and timing has me wondering if they aren't correlated.

NEW SOCCER STADIUM PROPOSAL IS DEAD, FORD FIELD IS ALTERNATIVE

Quote:
Ford Field is now the preferred site for a professional soccer team, according to the group spearheading the effort to bring a team to the city. This plan replaces previous efforts to build a soccer stadium on the site of Wayne County’s unfinished jail on Gratiot in the Greektown area.

Soccer indoors in a 65,000 seat football stadium.

Warren Evans kept stalling and stalling, the decision day by MLS leadership is fast approaching and now the Detroit MLS bid is in serious jeapordy. NO Thanks Warren Evans. I am not voting for you again.

Another brilliant development in Capitol Park
This might become the neatest, walkable square in all of the state of Michigan

Prime + Proper to open soon in Detroit’s Capitol Park

-Housed in the 105-year-old Capitol Park Loft building at 1145 Griswold, Prime + Proper is a 10,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant that aims to specialize in hospitality, a concept that Sasson said he’s spent months crafting.

-Naturally, any restaurant that employs an executive butcher will have a devoted meat selection. Cuts dry aged in-house include a porterhouse (24 or 42 ounce), tomahawk ribeye, Kansas City strip, New York strip and 14-day, dry-aged lamb chop. The menu will also have filet mignon, American Waygu filet mignon and a Japanese A-5 Waygu strip.

-Sasson says Prime + Proper can seat 155 guests on the main floor and a private dining area can seat 20. In the warmer season there will be “cocktail-driven patio” that can seat 90.
