Growing up downriver, neigborhoods in Taylor all had names. Don't think they are used much now. The area near Telegraph and Champaign behind the Old Handy Andy / Forest City was Fairlane. My parents continued to refer to it as such after we moved across Telegraph to more a "rural" setting. It was probably popular in the 1950s to use the development names.
